Invited to a Private Session by the Cornwall Lads at Prime.. Good to have a skate with them been a while. nearly didn't get the camera out.. first batch of HS (HyperSync) attempts. Set shutter speed to 1/4000 (didn't know it went that high) and stuck the flash on the platform and kind just snapped a few shots..

Christmas Kit upgrade..

I have some new Kit to play with...

Two new Flash senders an ETTL Flash that is capable of Hyper Sync, and a Softbox.
Looking forward to Playing with these this year.
Hyper sync is gonna be interesting it will allow me to shoot with insane shutter speeds so that is gonna take some figuring out.

Prime Xmas Session

bit of a bash with HSS (high speed sync) tonight. My speedlite is rated to 1/200 but was shooting at 1/320-1/400 so a bit it and miss as the flash was not fast enough for the shutter speed.
got some good shots though.

Rare sighting this week.... Ash Prime park manager took to his creation.
Struggling with post break rehab on a fairly recent broken ankle but had a skate till a minor over step had him retire for the night in pain back to building stuff ....
On a photography note.
Good news flash set up on the ramp got some good results / bad news the flash is in the ramp..
must work on flash zones on that ramp some more.
Street setup is on the money though..

Bit of a different one today... got invited to a social at a local karting venue.
Thought it would be good to try set up for another sport so armed with remote flash set up a couple of flash zones at different spots. This is where high speed sync would have been good but I will have to wait to play with that feature.
