RAD skate... fished the Camera out in the right at the end of the session... Batteries still an issue in that flash unit. real low ISO single flash. This post is dedicated to a skate buddy I am glad is still among us thanks to Facebook and concerned friends.

Invite to Shoot Roller Derby!

S.W.A.T South West Angels of Terror were invited by Grin 'N' Barum to come play with them.
I tagged along to see if I could take some cool pics of Roller Derby!
Turned out the flashes I have like batteries even better fresh out of the charger.
Need to do some research...
Anyway everyone had a laugh and I took some photos...

Found out that the batteries don't last long in the new flash..
started looking into add on battery packs.
Had a skate with an old mate for an hour or two then broke out the camera.
which didn't go much to plan either.

Ellis hop out fs smith stall. The only shot all night where both flashes worked!

Blinding skate really good fun. Ettl Flash is good but could do with a second one.
